GET INSPIRED

We live in at a time when the world can sometimes seem a bit harsh and so a little inspiration can give us a much-needed boost. I guess that why I decided to create this Get Inspired section, to share some of my favorite quotes that inspired me when I needed a boost.

Some of these quotes will be meaningful to those of you who had the b … courage to leave everything behind and live a dream, create a new life and make amazing memories for yourselves and your kids. Bravo to you – you are an inspiration to me and many around you.

I also wanted to shine the light on some organizations that are making a difference so I’ll share my experience as a Lions club member for over 12 years and give you some ideas of things you can participate in if you have some time to give.

This section is important for me because as Melvin Jones, founder of Lions Club International said “You can’t get very far until you start doing something for somebody else. » I guess you can also say it is the motto for This site. I love to help.

I’m an active member of Lions Club Sabaudia – 17 members, 17 wonderfully busy, interesting and giving women from Chambery and Aix-Les-Bains. I’m so very proud of our accomplishments helping mostly women’s and children’s charities by organizing events such as planting tulips against cancer or organizing a clothes drive for a handicapped athlete. The list of charities we have helped is long as is the number of hours devoted to giving. It can sometimes feel like a lot of work but it’s so rewarding and only the good stands out in my mind.

Get Inspired to sweat and collect money to help fight Breast Cancer. Sign up for the Odyssea run on May 21^st. Three races, 2km and 4km for mothers and children even strollers and the 8km timed race through the Parc Verney in Chambery. Chambery is one 9 cities in France to host the run. A wonderful event.
